John Watson, Founder

John has over 50 years of hands-on experience in dairy manufacturing and dairy projects. After a career in dairy manufacturing, he founded the independent consultancy Watson Dairy Consulting in 1998, and has since worked with dairy manufacturers and investors across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including Turkey, the UAE, Pakistan, India, Iran, Denmark and Spain.
His experience covers the whole dairy sector, from liquid milk, UHT and cheese to milk powders, whey and infant formula. In 2023 he was an invited expert panellist for the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, speaking on infant formula manufacturing.
