Dairy QEHS Manager

We invite applications for a Dairy Products Manufacturing QEHS Manager in the GCC region. Our client is a Leading Global “Blue Chip” Dairy Manufacturer and offers a generous remuneration package.

The QEHS Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) programs within the organization. This role ensures compliance with QEHS regulations, drives continuous improvement in QEHS performance, and fosters a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. The QEHS Manager aligns QEHS initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals.

Main tasks of the position (In terms of process & People):

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve QEHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international QEHS regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular QEHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the QEHS team to achieve high performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QEHS performance through strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support QEHS objectives and integrate best practices.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive QEHS training programs.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on QEHS performance metrics and trends.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and industry bodies.

Who are the key stakeholders?
The QEHS Manager will report to the Site Director and work closely with production, quality, safety, and environmental teams, as well as external stakeholders.

Decision authority:
Departmental Structure:
The QEHS Manager will report to the Site Director and have decision-making authority within the QEHS team.

Financial/Non-financial:
Responsible for managing the QEHS budget and driving non-financial aspects such as compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Leadership:
The QEHS Manager will provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development to the QEHS team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in QEHS management, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of QEHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
  • Proficiency in QEHS management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
