Dairy Factory Manager

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Dairy Factory Manager to oversee all aspects of their milk processing facility in the Philippines. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of dairy product quality and food safety while optimizing production efficiency. The successful candidate will join a leading dairy producer committed to strengthening the Philippines’ domestic dairy production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and optimize all milk processing operations including pasteurization, standardization, and packaging
• Ensure compliance with international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP) and local regulations
• Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production process
• Manage production planning and scheduling to meet market demands
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for processing equipment
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage factory staff, including training and development
• Control production costs and manage departmental budgets
• Coordinate with milk collection and quality assurance teams
• Maintain comprehensive production and quality records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or related field
• Minimum 7 years experience in dairy processing operations, with 5 years in management
• Strong knowledge of milk processing technologies and food safety systems
• Proven track record in implementing HACCP and GMP standards
• Experience with modern dairy processing equipment and automation systems
• Excellent understanding of dairy microbiology and quality control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in production management software and MS Office
• Fluent in English
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
