The Senior Operational Support Manager (Continuous Improvement) is a strategic role dedicated to driving the organization’s continuous improvement initiatives. This position is focused on enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and productivity through the implementation of lean methodologies, best practices, and innovative solutions. The role aims to align continuous improvement efforts with the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
Main tasks of the position (In terms of process & People):
- Identify, lead, and manage continuous improvement projects that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Implement lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and best practices to drive operational efficiency and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to build continuous improvement capabilities within the organization.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop the operational support team to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards while driving improvements.

The Senior Operational Support Manager will report to the Head of Operations and work closely with production, quality, safety, and other cross-functional teams.

The Senior Operational Support Manager will report to the Head of Operations and have decision-making authority within the operational support team.
Financial/Non-financial:
Responsible for managing continuous improvement projects within budget and driving non-financial aspects such as quality and safety compliance.
Leadership:
The Senior Operational Support Manager will provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development to the operational support team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in continuous improvement, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in driving operational excellence and innovation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change.
